Signals Terms & Conditions (T&C)
Welcome to Signals! Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Signals application (the "Service"). By accessing or using Signals, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Service Overview
Signals is a research and insight-generation platform that leverages multiple third-party AI models (such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, and others) to help users discover, synthesize, and visualize trends and insights. Signals provides tools for configuring, generating, deduplicating, and analyzing AI-generated content ("signals").
2. No Control Over Third-Party AI Models
- Independent Providers: Signals connects to and orchestrates outputs from third-party AI models. We do not own, operate, or control these models.
- No Guarantee of Response: Some models may not respond to certain queries, may be temporarily unavailable, or may return incomplete, irrelevant, or erroneous outputs.
- No Editorial Control: We do not edit, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.
3. Limitations & Disclaimers
- AI Content is Experimental: All outputs are generated by AI models and are for informational purposes only. They may contain errors, omissions, or biases, and should not be relied upon as factual, legal, financial, or professional advice.
- No Warranties: The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- No Guarantee of Availability: We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
4. Data Usage & Privacy
- User Data: Signals collects and stores user account information, session data, and configuration details to provide and improve the Service. Some features may require an email address or other contact information.
- AI Model Data Sharing: When you generate signals, your prompts and relevant context may be sent to third-party AI providers for processing. We do not control how these providers use or store your data. Please review their privacy policies for more information.
- Analytics: Signals may use analytics services (such as Plausible) to monitor usage and improve the Service. No personally identifiable information is shared with analytics providers.
- Security: We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Intended Use & User Responsibilities
- Appropriate Use: You agree to use Signals only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- No Sensitive Data: Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or personal information that you would not want shared with third-party AI providers.
- User Content: You are responsible for any content you input, generate, or share using the Service.
6. Intellectual Property

- AI Outputs: You may use, export, and share AI-generated outputs for your own purposes, subject to these Terms and any restrictions imposed by third-party model providers.
7. Limitation of Liability
- No Liability for AI Outputs: Envisioning and Signals are not liable for any damages, losses, or consequences arising from your use of, or reliance on, AI-generated content.
- Service Interruptions: We are not responsible for any interruptions, delays, or failures caused by third-party providers or external factors.
8. Changes to the Service or Terms
- Service Updates: We may update, modify, or discontinue the Service at any time.
